The 2010 Chinese New Year Celebration lineup of performers is spectacular.  Twenty-five groups with 300 performers will participate:  the youngest at 5 years old; the oldest at 89 years old.  The stellar cast will include beginners and international gold medal winners.

Twenty-seven programs in three sections (Cheerful, Cozy, and Thrill) will include solo vocal, duet, chorus, dance, Tai Chi, instrument ensemble, baton twirling,
martial arts and fashion show. Kicking off the program will be “Love my homeland, love my home” performed by Wisdom Chinese School, Lotus Chinese Language & Arts School and Flow Crew.  “Spring Celebration with Golden Tigers” from Sierra Chinese School and “Kids Celebrate New Year” from Folsom Chinese School will highlight the cheerful environment.  “Mountain Village Girl” by NewStar Chinese School, “Happy Prairie” from Great Wall Chinese School, and “Tai Chi” from Chinese Confucius School will give audience warm and cozy feelings.  “Impression of Wa Mountain” from UCD Chinese Dance and Arts Club does leave the audience a deep impression; “Ladies From Yellow Soil Bank” from Yaling Dance Studio will lead to a crescendo.

The Grand Finale will feature performers from four non-Chinese organizations - Kennelly School of Irish Dance, Institute of Nepalese Cultural Dances, Nkauj Hmong Yaj Yaum , and Russian Dance Group; the entire cast on stage will bring a perfect ending to the celebration.
